A medieval warrior is forced to get a job at a medieval fast food restaurant to pay the bills. He’s slightly unstable, vastly unqualified for the job and kills customers at the blink of an eye, but deep down, who ISN’T a homicidal maniac? Right? …Right? Ooook, apparently just me then… moving on. His tedium is soon broken when Ninja Gnomes go after him as well as the entire Goblin nation, seeking revenge. This causes unexpected consequences and eventually he loses his job and has to work a series of even more demeaning temp jobs. (So it’s a tragic comedy then?) Yeah, pretty much.
NOTE: The first release of volumes 1-3 were titled “Frik’in Hell”, but in 2017 all four volumes were combined into one book titled, FRIK: The Complete Series. The comic’s title was changed to cater to a broader demographic of viewers since it suggested the comic was for adults only.
