Everything I teach revolves around drawing, so all of these projects are no mess and I provide all the materials needed! Just give me a room at your school with tables (not desks) and a dry erase board and I’m set!

WHO AM I?
I’m Todd Tevlin and I’ve been an artist since I was eight years old and have studied many mediums, but since 2005 I’ve focused on mixed media digital abstract art and I’ve been a comic artist since 2009 selling my work at comic conventions around the Midwest.
I’ve been teaching drawing to children since 2015 independently, as after school classes, homeschool classes, live online classes, and a couple of Girlscout art badges. I’ve taught at elementary schools across St. Louis in the Webster Groves, Lindburgh, and Affton districts, as well as a couple Catholic schools.
CLASSES OFFERED All Materials Included
KIDS COMIC WORKSHOP INTRO CLASSBasic introduction class that only scratches the surface of my full multi-week courses.
One Hour Class
Ages: 1st-5th grade
JR. KIDS COMIC WORKSHOPBasic course that lightly covers comic principles with fun activities in an age appropriate manner.
Three Hour Course – (One Hour Each Week)
Ages: 1st-2nd grade
BEGINNER KIDS COMIC WORKSHOP*A condensed version of the full six week Beginner course, this teaches character design, speech bubbles and motion lines, panel layout, script writing, drawing comics, and plenty of fun activities!
Three Hour Course – (One Hour Each Week)
Ages: 3rd-5th grade
CHARACTER DESIGNAn in depth class teaching character design, many techniques used by pro cartoon/comic creators!
Three Hour Course – (One Hour Each Week)
Ages: 4th-5th grade
HOW TO DRAW CLASSESI also give step by step instruction teaching kids to draw popular characters from cartoons and movies like Pokemon, Minecraft, Star Wars, Teen Titans GO, Amazing World Of Gumball, Gravity Falls, and many more! I’ve also created a class called “Cartoon Monsters”.

Ages: Varies, 1st-5th grade
ONCE CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED
I will make a PDF flyer that you can send to parents to promote the class. Also, depending on how you want to handle payments, the PTO can either handle all payments from parents and then pay me the total after registration has closed, or I can take care of it all and have parents pay by credit card through my website. In the past, I have done both for schools so either is acceptable.
